Syndicate DVD

I finally got my hands on a copy of the Syndicate DVD ‘It Could Be You’. I ordered it from Amazon and it turned up a few days ago. The DVD is a guide to setting up a race horse syndicate, it follows the ‘Goat Racing Syndicate’ who own Forpadydeplasterer and the ‘River Syndicate’ who lease ‘Presenting Lucy’.

Both syndicates are based in Ireland and the DVD focuses on setting up a Syndicate in the Irish Republic. However, I can’t see that the rules differ that greatly from the United Kingdom. So it will be of interest to potential owners in both countries, the DVD is only 35 minutes long but it gives some good advice on setting up and running Syndicate.

It also covers the social aspect of race horse ownership and you can tell the lads of the Goat Racing Syndicate are really enjoying the success they’ve found with Forpadydeplasterer. Already he’s won at Cheltenham and placed twice at Aintree. In fact Forpadydeplasterer is a 50/1 shot for the 2013 Grand National with Paddy Power, looking at his record you’d have to fancy him as a solid each way bet.
