Stable Visit Fun

A big part of owning a racehorse is the fun you have visiting the stables, it’s not all about race day! If you’re in a good syndicate then you should be getting lots of chances to visit your horse (and others) at the yard.

Normally there’s no problems if you want to invite along friends and family too. However, beware… let them know beforehand that horses can be dangerous, here’s a photo of my mum being bitten by Peddlers Cross. Don’t worry the incident wasn’t serious, and I’m happy to report that Peddlers Cross suffered no lasting effects from the encounter. Although he’s now developed a taste for Marks and Spencers coats!
